I am Butch Gray, an author, independent publisher, and lifelong storyteller with a background in broadcasting, science, engineering, and filmmaking. Giftkone Publishing was created as a place to share books, ideas, publishing information, and resources for writers, publishers, distributors, and readers. I believe readers are one of the most important parts of publishing. A book may begin with the writer, but readers give it life through their interest, reactions, conversations, and recommendations. Reviews and feedback are especially valuable to independent authors. Honest reviews can help other readers discover books and can help writers understand what connected, what worked, and what might be improved. Positive reviews are appreciated, but thoughtful and respectful criticism can be just as useful. Whenever possible, selected books, primarily eBooks, may be available to prospective reviewers. Receiving a free review copy never creates an obligation to leave a review. Thank you for reading, sharing your thoughts, and supporting independent authors and publishing.
